We are just a few days away from the opening of the gates of Fiera Milano and the start of the most eagerly awaited three-day event on home and building automation, SMART BUILDING EXPO.
Three days in which it will not only be possible to experience first-hand the best that companies are offering in terms of innovation and system integration in the home, building and city sectors, but it will also be possible to listen to some of the key figures in the ongoing technological revolution, accelerated by green energy policies and the new functional requirements of homes and offices, literally transformed by the two-year pandemic.
It feels like an entire geological era has passed since 2019, the year in which the last SMART BUILDING EXPO was duly held, with completely transformed parameters and priorities and a focus on the need to review building equipment to meet the ambitious targets of all European and national policies that has never been so strong.
For this reason, there will be a lot of talk in Milan about the integration between Smart Building and Smart City, with the Milano Smart City Conference, which will benefit from the decisive contribution of organisations such as the Smart Building Alliance, the National Smart Communities Tech Cluster and the National Aerospace Technology Cluster. But there will also be a debate on the numbers of a market that is accelerating after the pandemic, thanks to the contribution of the Polytechnic University of Milan, as well as the application of the Smart Readiness Indicator and its effects on the market. ANIE CSI will discuss the digitalisation of buildings as a tool for achieving consumption efficiency, a topic also addressed by AIBACS in terms of control and management systems, while the Smart Installer programme will put the spotlight on the fundamental issue of training and certification of technicians' skills.
This is just a reminder of the most important events that make SMART BUILDING EXPO an event not to be missed by anyone working in the sector, all the more so because it is held at the same time as SICUREZZA and MADE Expo.
