Offering the best possible technological solution, integrating different products and technologies, but above all minimising environmental impact.
This was the great challenge faced by S&A to protect the “La Pineta” of Roccamare in Castiglione della Pescaia, a place surrounded by greenery a few steps from the sea, characterised by beautiful and luxurious villas.
During the renovation of one of the most prestigious villas in the area, Nextworks, S&A's historical partner and leader in the field of security and home automation integration, was involved in the implementation of an advanced video surveillance system.
The Symphony integrated control and supervision solution developed and delivered by Nextworks, combined with S&A's state-of-the-art video surveillance solution, provides the end user with 24/7 perimeter protection and video surveillance of the property.
The project presented some major challenges such as the location, an extensive patch of maritime pines, and the end user's wish not to disfigure the landscape by militarising it.
The strategy adopted by S&A was to strategically place 20 thermal imaging cameras for perimeter monitoring, connecting them to a motion detection appliance. Deep learning-based video analysis was used to create “invisible” barriers that effectively detect potential intruders, excluding adverse environmental conditions and/or the presence of small animals.
S&A has deployed its flagship product for the video control and supervision of the large area: IP cameras with advanced TVT video analysis. 40 cameras set up for access control for indoor and outdoor areas.
A VMS platform was chosen for the management of this advanced system, allowing all these technologically advanced devices to be integrated easily and effectively.
The system can be accessed securely from the inSymphony App remotely, allowing the end user to connect at any time from any device, giving them real-time control of the entire property.
