Video surveillance increasingly tailor-made
image
An evolving sector thanks to the ability to optimally integrate systems and to create customised proposals based on the customer's needs and scope of application: video surveillance is one example of what is happening to the entire security sector. In this newsletter we will discover some successful applications developed by companies exhibiting at SICUREZZA 2021.

A sector capable of continuous adaptation and evolution.

Thanks to increasingly advanced cameras and intelligent software that forms the “brains” of the system, it is now possible to monitor areas that are profoundly different in terms of their characteristics and requirements: ranging from residential to museums, from street monitoring to the monitoring of major events, to name a few examples.

Each of these contexts is based on careful design of the solution, a necessary requirement for the systems to adapt and perform at their best, and on an ever-increasing awareness of the role of integration, which forces the “video” world to interact directly with other realities.

Hence the “intelligence” of the cameras which, thanks to integrated software and algorithms able to read and interpret data, can identify and signal risk situations in real time, read car number plates or protect open spaces and sensitive sites.

Different contexts, but a common way of perceiving and implementing security in an integrated and intelligent way, are the secret of the evolution of a segment that, according to the latest figures expressed by ANIE Sicurezza, confirms itself as one of the top performers in Italy, with a 15.6% increase in turnover compared to the previous year (2020/2019 figures).
