It is becoming increasingly clear that trade fairs are becoming something very different from what we were used to up until two years ago. This is an ongoing transformation that is also drawing a clear line of demarcation between "corporate" events and "trade fairs", dissolving misunderstandings that in the recent past have caused much confusion, to the detriment of the sector.
One fact that might seem obvious but is not, is that trade fairs will increasingly be collective and participatory events, right from the planning stages, playing the role of catalysts of increasingly broader competences, to offer clear and professional answers to the market, especially in terms of a medium-long term "vision".
Smart Building Expo is one of the examples of this approach, where the inspiration has always been there, but which has come to full maturity in the 2021 edition.
The plastic representation of what is meant by participatory planning is given by the intense work that has characterized the entire conception and planning phase of the fair, with the precise involvement of all the main stakeholders. This planning will be fully represented in the three days in November.
This is the case for the Smart Building Alliance for smart cities of the National Smart Communities Tech Cluster and the National Aerospace Tech Cluster, with whom the second edition of the Milano Smart City Conference, the highlight event of the fair, has been planned.
In addition, the collaboration with the Energy and Strategy group from the Milan Polytechnic will make it possible to present up-to-date data on the smart building market, while thanks to Prosiel, ANIE-CSI, Anitec-Asinform and ANCE, it will be possible, through special seminars, to examine crucial topics such as electrical safety and the contribution of building automation to the process of energy efficiency of buildings.
Thanks to the collaboration with ANFOV, the Association for Convergence in Communication Services, we will try to outline the technological scenario dictated by the next television “switch off” and the paradigm shift in television systems, with the property managers of ANACI we will deepen the profound change to which their category is called in the management of increasingly complex and pervasive technologies.
Avixa in collaboration with the magazine Connessioni will lead the AV playground seminars, an area entirely dedicated to the world of audio and video, while AIBACS and KNX will focus strongly on the themes of system integration and interoperability.
So who produced Smart Building Expo 2021? Of course, Pentastudio and Fiera Milano are the organizers, but no less so are all the companies we have mentioned, who have identified with the event, offering their fundamental contribution of expertise, making it a collective, future-oriented event and for this reason, a fundamental and indispensable tool in the market.
