SMART BUILDING EXPO, the home and building automation and technological integration event organised by Fiera Milano and Pentastudio, on occasion of its third edition, at Fiera Milano from 22 to 24 November 2021, is gearing up to offer unprecedented training opportunities.
At a time of great development in the building automation sector, when homes are increasingly automated, connected and multi-tasking and buildings and cities are experiencing the fourth industrial revolution - that of artificial intelligence combined with energy efficiency - professionals must understand not only their own sector more fully, but also the entire supply chain, which is increasingly integrated. This is why SMART BUILDING EXPO 2021 offers a "horizontal" approach to home and building automation technologies, focusing on the concepts of building, smart city and innovation.
The event will be an important opportunity for designers, system integrators, facility managers and installers to exchange views and learn more at a crucial time of technological transition, which sees the digitisation of products and processes, green approaches and the need to ensure resilience in everyday life and work environments as the cornerstones for development and recovery.
In order to present an educational and informative selection of courses adequate to an ever-changing sector, SMART BUILDING EXPO is working in close collaboration with major players in the industry, identifying leading partners with whom to hold high-level events at the expo, many of which will provide training credits to installers, designers, engineers and experts.
THE SMART BUILDING SECTOR ACCORDING TO THE POLITECNICO DI MILANO: PRESENTATION OF NEW DATA AT FIERA MILANO
Today, every building is transforming and becoming smarter. A real revolution that requires professionals to keep up to date, enabling them to fully exploit the opportunities of the connected building, both in terms of energy management and communication. This is a rapidly developing market, which can finally count on an objective and dedicated assessment of its trends.
Thanks to the partnership with the Politecnico di Milano, SMART BUILDING EXPO will inaugurate its educational courses with the presentation, on 22 November, of unpublished data on the smart building sector, an event during which the trends for the year 2020 will be discussed and attention will focus on the current year, also identifying some trends for the future. The meeting will be of great interest for all professionals and, for the first time, will offer a complete overview of smart buildings looking at both the energy and digital connection aspects.
MILAN SMART BUILDING CONFERENCE: SPACE FOR RESILIENCE
After the success of the first edition, the Milano Smart Building Conference is back on the occasion of the SMART BUILDING EXPO. Two mornings, on 23 and 24 November, dedicated to technologies and services for urban resilience. In the two working sessions, the interconnection between building and built environment (building vs city) and vice versa (city vs building) will be reviewed outlining an ideal smart city model based on the interoperability of the systems.
In order to offer a comprehensive view on the topic, SMART BUILDING EXPO is working on the scientific programme in collaboration with the Smart Buildings Alliance - Italy, the SBA association whose goal is to organise the promotion of the smart buildings sector within the Digital City, bringing together all the stakeholders and combining digital and energy transformation to the benefit of users. A partnership that will allow bringing a number of high-level speakers to the expo to offer a complete overview of the market and the opportunities offered by new technologies.
As a result of the increasing digitisation and its further acceleration caused by the pandemic, today every home has been transformed into a school and office, thanks to e-learning and smart working, but it has also affected, for example, doctors’ offices, if only we think of telemedicine. In short, every building has become a 'critical infrastructure', because it has to continuously send, receive and protect data. Therefore, talking about resilience means considering the building in its entirety, but above all considering it as an active part of the urban context in which it is integrated.
THE CONSTRUCTION SECTOR AND NEW TECHNOLOGIES: THE LAST STOP OF THE ROADSHOW AT THE EXPO
Once again in 2021, SMART BUILDING EXPO will host the final stop of the Roadshow organised by Anitec-Assinform, the Italian Association for Information and Communication Technology belonging to Confindustria, and promoted by ANCE, to align the worlds of new smart systems and the construction sector. Split into five stops that will take place between May and July in streaming, the roadshow will reach the expo as its final stop with a face-to-face meeting. The course will grant 16 training credits from the main professional agencies to all those who attend at least 70% of the hours of the course, calculated over the total duration of the five stops.
This is an important event, especially for building professionals, which is further enhanced by the fact that it is held at the same time as MADE Expo, Italy's leading exhibition for the construction sector.
SMART BUILDING EXPO , from 22 to 24 November 2021, in fact, not only confirms the modernity through SICUREZZA, the biennial international security&fire exhibition, but, for the first time, it will be held on the same days as MADE expo (which will open on 22 November, but will run over the traditional four days, until 25 November). During the same tour, the operators will be able to find an even more comprehensive offer, ranging from materials, windows and doors and casings to plant engineering, building automation, automation and security systems.
