The Security market is undergoing profound changes. The same goes for the way we perceive Security, starting with increasingly sophisticated systems that exploit artificial intelligence, IoT and data analysis in order to prevent, detect and respond in real time to threats, whether physical or virtual. Besides, the increasing interconnection between devices and systems, requires a holistic perspective and an even closer collaboration between all players in the sector.
In this context, in the Italian market trade associations such as ANIE Sicurezza, ANORC, ASSIV, ASSOSICUREZZA, CONFEDERSICUREZZA and ERSI play an even more essential role. Through their advocacy work, they contribute to outlining a common vision for the industry, fostering the dissemination of good practices, influencing industry legislation, and promoting the training and further education of operators.
Therefore, one of the elements that makes SICUREZZA a unique event is its close cooperation with these Associations, that gives the exhibition an authoritative role with a real and significant influence on the entire supply chain. SICUREZZA, indeed, represents a space for dialogue, a platform where proposals, knowledge and experience can be shared. Through dedicated conferences, workshops and meetings, visitors and operators will have the chance to explore emerging trends, discuss current and future challenges, and identify innovative solutions.
In the run-up to SICUREZZA 2023, we decided to exchange thoughts with the various associations in order to obtain a clear and in-depth overview of the different sectors of the industry, thus covering the relevant topics that will be on the agenda from 15 to 17 November at Fieramilano. We discussed the new opportunities offered by digitalization together with the challenges deriving from it, including a more attentive and multitasking training of workers. We explored how the interconnection of systems requires cooperation between suppliers, installers and institutions, and how MIBA, Milan International Building Alliance, can foster such cooperation by broadening the horizons of Security to the smart building industry.
