Two years have passed since the last SICUREZZA fair. In that occasion, AIPS in collaboration with the Interassociative Group, composed of trade associations (Aips, Aipros, Anie Sicurezza, Assosicurezza) and Certification institutes (Icmq, Imq and Tüv Italia), had organized a panel discussion on the professional certification process for security operators. That process culminated in the UNI1610032 standard draft, which integrates and completes the already existing CEI technical standard on electronic security and alarm systems, involving designers, installers and maintenance technicians of intrusion and hold-up alarm systems, video surveillance and access control. However, this process has suffered a temporary setback. So where are we now?

Believing that the market will depreciate without a reference standard and that the certfication is the correct way to give guarantees to both customers and security installers, producers and distributors, AIPS gives appointment for the next panel discussion on 17 November 2023 at 10.00.
